Letter to Patients

Dear Valued Patients:

I am writing to advise you that on May 30, 2023, I will be closing the doors to Arvind Wadhwa MD medical office. This is not the end to my medical career I had hoped for and certainly not the way I wanted to inform my patients, friends, and community. I am retiring due to some unforeseen personal medical circumstances that prevent me from continuing in the job/career I have loved so much.

I worked hard over the last month to find a physician to assume my office that fit my very strict criteria. I have found a suitable replacement; her name is Dr. Nathalie Bousader-Armstrong and she owns a company called 716 Health Medical. She will be moving into my office effective May 1, 2023, and is hoping to continue to provide medical care with the same level of care and consideration I have provided you over our many years together.

This has been such a challenging time and I hope you all understand that this decision did not come easily and without much consideration. Dr. Bousader-Armstrong is someone I feel will be best suited to carry on in my place. Dr. Bousader-Armstrong has been in practice since 2005, and lives locally with her family.

If you choose not to be placed under the care of Dr. Bousader-Armstrong, copies of your records will be sent to the physician you designate. Since the records are confidential, your written authorization to make them available to another physician is required. For this reason, I am including with this letter an authorization form. Please complete the form and return it to me as soon as possible.

Amber Nocek, P.A. will continue to be available to you at 716-693-3344 over the next thirty (30) days during this transition, as well as Dr. Bousader-Armstrong who is also available to start seeing patients immediately. Her office number is 716-725-9000.

Amber Nocek’s last day is May 30, 2023, and she will be pursuing another career opportunity within the community.

Again, it has been my pleasure and honor to serve you over the last 30+ years. Please know I think of you all often, will miss you, and wish you all the absolute best.

Welcome to Dr. Wadhwa’s office. This is a single doctor owned and operated office that focuses on prevention and health maintenance. Dr. Arvind Wadhwa has been caring for patients in the community for over 25 years. Julia Szafranski, Physician Assistant, has worked with Dr. Wadhwa since 2001. Together, working as a team, we are committed to providing compassionate medical care to adults, 21 years and older.

Our Office

This is an Internal Medicine office located in North Tonawanda, NY. We are conveniently located in North Tonawanda, at the corner of Wright Ave and Division St. Our office is spacious and is handicap accessible. There is ample parking space available. We do accept most health insurances as well as cash-paying patients. My staff and I work hard to provide our patients with the personal attention and care that they deserve. Our goal is to provide quality medical care while maintaining a personal and caring environment each and every time you visit our office. We see patients on an appointment basis, and ask that you call in advance so that we may reserve a time for you. We are usually able to schedule you a sick appointment on the same day.

If you are looking to become a new patient, we request that you complete a new patient packet and our office will contact you to schedule an appointment. The new patient packet is available at our office (soon to be available on-line). We generally schedule new patients within 3-4 wks after review of the new patient packet.
